The children in second class will be receiving their First Communion this Saturday in Rathfeigh Church at 11.00a.m. They have been preparing really well for their big day and we wish them all, and their families, a happy and spiritual day. If you can’t bring your own child please organise a lift with another parent/guardian. Thanks to Ms. O’Donoghue for preparing the children for their big day.

Mindfulness/Well-being

The children in 5th/6th class had a mindfulness/well-being class with Una Curran today which went really well. The Minister for Justice (Helen Mc Entee), the Minister of State for Special Education & Inclusion (Josepha Madigan) and local Fine Gael Councillor Suzanne Jamal visited the school today to see our Sensory Room and to discuss our initiatives in relation to mindfulness and well-being. We thank Suzanne Jamal for her recent contribution of €2500 from her Municipal District Allocation which will be used to further improve our recent initiatives in the well-being/mindfulness area.
