The Parents’ Association A.G.M. takes place tomorrow night in the school at 7.30p.m. Everyone is welcome and we hope a parent/guardian from each family attends. I will be in attendance at the meeting to answer any questions relating to the school.
Please find attached the Agreed Report from the Board of Management meeting which was held on September 18th. At this meeting the school’s ‘Statement of Strategy for School Attendance’ was ratified by the Board of Management. This will be on the school website in the coming days. A hard copy is available from the office.
Our Boys’ Rounders’ Team are playing Oristown in Skryne this Thursday (September 28th) at 12.30p.m. We will be leaving the school at 12.10p.m. We will need help with lifts. If you can’t bring your child to the game please make arrangements with another parent/guardian.
Our Girls’s Rounders’ Team had a great win over Dangan last week. They won 23 – 16. A big thanks to Teresa Mangan for helping with the training sessions. They are playing Cortown in Skryne on Friday ( 29th) at 12.30p.m.. We will be leaving the school at 12.10p.m. We will need help with lifts. If you can’t bring your child to the game please make arrangements with another parent/guardian.
All parents/guardians of sixth class pupils should contact the secondary school(s) that their children may be attending next year for information on Open Days and Enrolment Forms. Only some secondary schools contact us with this information so I would advise all parents/guardians of sixth class pupils to contact the secondary schools immediately.
