A Thuisti,
A huge community effort resulted in the school being open today. It was fantastic to see people of all ages roll up their sleeves and get the huge volumes of snow off the footpaths. A special thanks to Brian Smyth for turning up with his digger. Without him the school would have been closed today. Last week’s weather was unprecedented and we thank everyone for their patience while the school was closed.
Pre-Communion Practice
There is a Pre- Communion Mass Practice this Friday in Rathfeigh Church at 1.30p.m. We will be leaving the school at 1.25p.m. If you are unable to give your child a lift please make arrangements with another parent/guardian.
Swimming
Swimming continues this Thursday for pupils in First, Second and Sixth classes. Thanks to everyone who helped out at the swimming pool for the first session. Our policy is on the school website.

Children should bring a packed lunch and plenty of drinks. There is a canteen at the venue where the children can buy snacks / drinks if they wish. We will need help from a couple of parents on the day. Please let class teacher know tomorrow morning if you can help out. The tournament is expected to finish at 6.00p.m. The bus will return to the school at approx. 6.45p.m. This could be subject to change depending on how well the children do in the different rounds of the tournament.
