Dear Parents/Guardians,
Congratulations to all the children who received the sacrament of first communion on Saturday. We hope their day was memorable as the sun shone down on them.
To prepare for this day a huge effort is required so to everyone involved, Thank You !!.
We are delighted to announce the appointment of another SNA for our school. Tara is the successful candidate and the position starts with immediate effect. We hope Tara will enjoy working in our school and we wish her all the best !!
School Tours
All classes are going on school tours on Tuesday 11th May.
Junior & Senior Infants, First and Second classes – Tayto Park
Third, Fourth, Fifth and Sixth classes – Lilliput Adventure Centre

Trim Castle
Third and Fourth class are going to Trim Castle on Tuesday May 21st. They will be leaving at 9.20a.m. and returning at 12.30 p.m. approximately and they will be travelling by bus. The cost of the bus is €12.00. I will send out the link to pay online today or if you wish you can send in money in an envelope with your child’s name on it.
Girls Rounders
Our girls rounders team are playing Ardcath in Skryne pitch on Wednesday May 15th at 11.30a.m. Please arrange a lift for your child. Pick up from the school is 11.10a.m. and pick up from Skryne is 1.00p.m. approximately.
Ms. Goggin is the coach of the girls rounders team. The coach is in charge of all decision making. May I remind Rathfeigh supporters attending the game not to interfere with this process. Best of luck to Ms. Goggin and the team on Wednesday.
Art Competition
Closing date for the art competition is Friday 17th May. Please return all entries to class teacher by this date.
Rugby
Rugby coaching begins on Friday 17th May for 1st to 6th class.
School Closures
Monday 3rd June – Bank Holiday
Tuesday 4th June – As per school calendar
Friday 7th June – The school is being used for the Local and European elections.
Finally we are thinking of our dear friend and colleague Mr.Tansley as he continues on his road to recovery.
