Board of Management
This Wednesday (13th) at 7.30p.m. in the school we are having our election for Parents/Guardians Representatives to the new Board of Management. All Boards of Management need two Parents/Guardians Representatives (1 Female 1 Male). We are hoping for a large turnout on Wednesday.
Parents’ Association Christmas Raffle
Our Parents’ Association Christmas Raffle takes place after our Christmas Carol Service on Friday December 22nd. Every family was given an envelope with Raffle Tickets on Friday. (Please check your child’s bag). If you would like extra tickets please contact Helen in the office. All ticket stubs/unused tickets and money to be returned to the school by Tuesday 19th December. (Please return the ticket stubs/unused tickets and money in an envelope).
Student Council Christmas Hamper
Our Student Council are organising the Christmas Hamper Draw. Tickets went on sale today and will be on sale until Thursday December 21st. The cost of tickets are €5 for 3 strips or €2 for one strip. There will be two hampers – one for children in Juniors to Second class and one for Third to Sixth class. We are looking for donations for the hampers – selection boxes, sweets, toys, books, puzzles etc.
Christmas Tree
We are delighted to receive a donation of a beautiful Christmas Tree from a parent last week. The Christmas Tree stands proudly inside reception and the children will be decorating it this week. The Spirit of Christmas is truly with us!
Badminton
The final badminton session takes place this Wednesday. If you haven’t paid already (€5) please do so by Wednesday as the money goes directly to Teresa.
Parents’ Association Calendar
The Parents’ Association Calendar is available from Helen in the office. The cost is €10.
School Closure
The school is closed this Friday (15th) for professional development on the new Maths curriculum.
