A Thuisti,
We have completed a school self-evaluation of teaching and learning in reading in our school. It was a time consuming but very worthwhile process. We want to thank all the parents and children who completed questionnaires. The information from these questionnaires helped us greatly in prioritising areas for improvement with regard to reading. If there is any aspect of the School Self-Evaluation Report that needs further clarification please contact me.
Second class pupils have completed the Literacy Lift Programme. We would like to invite parents of Second class children to the school tomorrow (Tuesday 30th) at 1.50p.m. to discuss the progress made by the children.
Literacy Lift Off starts for Senior Infants next Tuesday (May 7th). Parents are invited to the school this Thursday (May 2nd) at 1.50p.m. for an overview of the programme.
The girls are playing Skryne in rounders this Wednesday at 2.00p.m. We will be leaving the school at 1.50p.m. The game is on in Skryne Gaelic football pitch. We wish them the very best of luck.
We are currently collecting deposits for school tours. Please send in money in an envelope as soon as possible.
