A Thuisti,
The second class pupils will receive their First Confession in Rathfeigh Church this Thursday March 21st at 7.30p.m. There is a practice in the church on Wednesday March 20th from 1.30 to 2.30p.m. The children can go home directly after the practice. If you are not bringing your own child to the practice please indicate below who your child is travelling with and return the slip to teacher tomorrow. We thank Ms. O’Donoghue for preparing the children so well for their second sacrament.
The Accord facilitators for the RSE programme will hold a meeting with the parents of the children in fifth and sixth class this Wednesday 20th March at 7.30p.m. Sixth class pupils please return the consent form tomorrow.
The Girls’ 7-a-side gaelic football team have qualified for the finals. They defeated Dunderry and Rathcairn and drew with Kilmessan. They played really well and we wish them luck in the finals which will take place on April 11th. The Boys’ 7-a-side team were extremely unlucky not to reach the finals also. Luck deserted them on the day but we were very proud of their brave effort.
We want to remind parents to return the consent forms for the Stay Safe programme which starts after Easter.
Tennis coaching starts after Easter. The cost is €10.00 for eight weeks. If you haven’t already paid, please send in the money in an envelope this week.
School closes for Easter Holidays this Friday 22nd at 12 noon. There is a school bus. We would like to wish the Rathfeigh school community an enjoyable and peaceful Easter.
School re-opens after Easter on Monday April 8th.
Is mise,
Seamus Tansley.
