The girls’ gaelic football quarter final takes place this Thursday in Gibbstown at 1.30p.m. (against Ballinacree). They will be leaving the school at 12.40p.m. Please arrange a lift for your child if you can’t attend yourself. Best of luck to all the girls and Ms. Reynolds.
Vision and Hearing Screening for 1st Class
First class will have Vision and Hearing screening in the school on Thursday October 20th. The HSE normally do this screening when the children are in Junior Infants but this was delayed because of Covid-19.
Tin Whistle
The children in 1st to 6th class have been enthusiastically learning the tin whistle last week. Great progress is being made by them all. Please encourage your child to practise nightly. Thanks to Mrs Vaughan for teaching the tin whistle to all the children in 1st to 6th class.
Maths Week
This week is Maths Week. We will be doing a variety of interesting maths challenges over the course of the week. Please log onto mathsweek.ie for resources that your children may be interested in.
Interactive Whiteboards
The interactive whiteboards were installed in the four classrooms today. Once again, we thank Facebook (Meta) for their generous grant, which will benefit the children in Rathfeigh for many years to come.
