Our Boys’ Rounders’ Team had a great victory last Thursday against Carlanstown in the quarter final. They are now through to the semi-finals and we wish them the best of luck.
Our Girls’ Rounders’ Team are also through to the semi finals after beating Skryne in a close game. We wish them the best of luck in the semis.
School Tours take place on Friday 5th June. If you haven’t already paid for tours please send in money tomorrow.
There is an athletics workshop again this Tuesday in school for pupils in 3rd to 6th classes. Pupils must wear their tracksuits. This workshop will form part of the P.E. curriculum.
Mrs Nolan, our part-time resource teacher, finishes this Thursday. Sinead has been with us since September. We would like to thank her for her commitment, enthusiasm and dedication towards her job in her time here in Rathfeigh. We wish her continued success in her teaching career.
The Parents’ Association have organised guest speakers on health and fitness to come to the school on Wednesday and Thursday ( 3rd and 4th June). These days promise to be very informative and enjoyable for the children. The children should wear tracksuits on these days.
The Parents’ Association Family Fun Day takes place on Sunday June 7th. We hope everyone can support this fun fundraising day.
There is no Credit Union in the school this week.
Parents/Guardians of pupils in sixth class must return the Education Passport materials from the NCCA by this Wednesday (24th May). One form is filled out by parents/guardians and the other by your child in sixth class.
