Rounders
Our girls’ rounders’ team are playing in Dunderry in the semi-final this Wednesday at 11.45a.m. We will be leaving the school at 10.55a.m. Please arrange a lift for your child if you can’t attend yourself. As this is the semi-final we would like all the girls on the panel to be present.
Our boys’ team lost their semi-final narrowly to Skryne last week. Despite the defeat they have had a great year and we’re all very proud of their efforts.
Aladdin
Last Thursday we emailed you a letter with information about Aladdin Connect.
If you didn’t received this letter please let Helen know . This week we will email you your registration link in order for you to register for Aladdin Connect and download the App.
Standardised Tests
The children in 1st to 6th class will be administered the standardised tests in English, Irish and maths on May 30th, May 31st and June 1st.
Half Day
The school will close at 12.30p.m. on Thursday June 1st to facilitate professional development for teachers on the Primary Language Curriculum.
School Tours
All children are going on school tours on Friday June 9th. The prices of the tours have been e-mailed to parents/guardians. Details are as follows:

Payment can be made online we will send you the link again today or if you wish you can send in cash. Please put money in an envelope with your child’s name on it.
If your child is not able to go on their school tour can you please let Helen know immediately as we have to confirm our final numbers this week.
Gymnastics
Congratulations to Lucia Flaherty who won 1st overall, 1st on the vault and 3rd on the floor (under 9) in the National Gymnastics Apparatus Championship last Saturday. Well done Lucia.
