First Communion
Congratulations to the thirteen pupils who received their First Communion on Saturday – Aibhlinn, Sadhbh,
Darci, Ava, Lucia, Nevaeh, Mikhaela, Lucia, Patrick, Niall, Tiernan, Noah and Emmett.
A lot of work went into making the day so special for the children – Fr. Thomas for the lovely ceremony, Ms. Reynolds for preparing the children so well for their big day. Ms. O’Donoghue for preparing the choir. Mrs Campbell for co-ordinating the choir on the day and Clodagh who played the violin, Mrs Vaughan for organising the gifts during the ceremony and Helen for preparing the Mass Booklet.
The beautiful weather added to the occasion. Our Parents’ Association had the back of the school beautifully decorated and we thank everyone on the Association for giving of their time on Saturday to organise the food and refreshments. We also thank everyone who supplied the sandwiches, cakes etc. Thanks, also, to Ingrid for having the school looking great for the occasion.
Rounders
Our Girls’ Rounders’ team are playing Moynalty in the quarter final tomorrow in Skryne GAA at 12.00p.m. We will be leaving the school at 11.30a.m.
Our Boys’ Rounders’ team are playing Skryne in the semi final in Skryne GAA this Thursday at 12.30p.m. We will be leaving the school at 12 noon.
Please arrange a lift for your child if you cannot attend yourself.
