A Thuisti,
First Communion
We thank everyone who played their part in making Saturday’s First Communion such a memorable occasion for the second class pupils. We thank Fr. Thomas for the lovely ceremony,
Ms. O’Donoghue for preparing the children for the Communion as well as the choir and to Mrs Vaughan and Mrs Campbell for assisting Ms. O’ Donoghue during the ceremony. Of course the children were excellent on the day and we hope they all enjoyed their celebrations with their families, relations and friends.
Our Parents’ Association provided refreshments and food at the school afterwards which went down very well with all in attendance. Their decision to have this outdoors was a masterstroke as the weather was glorious. We thank everyone from the Parents’ Association in attendance on Saturday.
