Our Girls’ Rounders’ Team had a great victory last week against Ardcath. They played Carlanstown last Friday in the quarter finals and were extremely unlucky to lose by one run in a dramatic ending. They were a pleasure to train and always played in a sporting manner. For the sixth class girls it was their last time to represent Rathfeigh on a school team. We would like to thank them for their huge efforts and sportsmanship whilst playing on the various school teams throughout the years. We hope they continue to play various sports in future years.
Our Boys’ Rounders’ Team had a great victory against our neighbours Skryne last week. They played Dangan in the quarter finals yesterday. After three hours of excitement and drama Rathfeigh emerged victorious after eight innings each. The boys were delighted and exhausted after the win. They showed a great will to win. We wish them the very best of luck in the semi-finals next week.
We would like to invite the new Junior Infants and their parents to the school on Tuesday 10th June at 1.30p.m.
Photographs from the recent Timeline Productions exhibition will be on the school website in the next few days.
