The pupils in sixth class will receive their Confirmation on Sunday April 26th at 1.00p.m. It is a special day as they will receive their fourth sacrament. They will have two Confirmation Practices in Skryne Church next week from 1.30 – 2.30p.m. (Wednesday 22nd and Thursday 23rd). All children in sixth class must wear their full school uniform tomorrow as we will be taking their photograph for the Confirmation Booklet.
We need a large number of pupils in fourth and fifth classes to sing in the choir on Confirmation Day. There are two choir practices next week Tuesday April 21st from 9.30 – 11.00a.m. and Thursday April 23rd from 1.30 – 2.30p.m. Please sign the slip attached whether your child can attend/not attend on Confirmation Day.
A big congratulations to all the pupils in second class who received their First Confession before Easter. They said their prayers and sang all the songs excellently. A big thanks to Mrs Vaughan for preparing the class so well.
The school will close at 1.40p.m. for all pupils on Tuesday April 21st to facilitate a staff meeting. Please note there will be no school bus.
Our Jumble Sale before the Easter holidays was a great success. I would like to thank the sixth class pupils for organising the event and for making it an enjoyable day. We collected €332.40 which will be used to buy sports equipment.
