Open Week

This week is our ‘Open Week’. Parents/Guardians of children starting school in September are welcome to visit the school to see our facilities and talk to teachers. Please make an appointment by e-mail or phone. We look forward to meeting you. If you have a child starting school in September please download the Enrolment Form from the school website and send it into the office please.

Credit Union Quiz

The Tara & District Credit Union quiz takes place this evening in Skryne School at 6.30p.m. The children should arrive at 6.15p.m. They must wear their school tracksuit. We wish our six teams the best of luck in this evening’s quiz.

Badminton

The children in sixth class have badminton matches in Baldoyle this Thursday. The children must register in Baldoyle at 9.30a.m. and the first game starts at 10.00a.m. sharp. The games will finish at 1.45p.m. We will need help with lifts. If you can’t bring your own child please make arrangements with another family. For Health & Safety reasons we will need parents/guardians to help out with the supervision of children. Please let Ms. O’Donoghue know tomorrow if you can attend.

Gaelic Football Training

Gaelic football training with Liam O’Grady continues this Tuesday for the children in all classes.

Science-in-a-Box

The second ‘Science’ lesson for 5th/6th class pupils will continue this week. There will be ten lessons in total.

Internet Acceptable Usage Policy

All families in 3rd to 6th class were e-mailed the school’s ‘Internet Acceptable Usage Policy’ last week. Please read the policy and sign and return the forms this week.

School Closure

The school is closed on Monday February 6th.

Badminton Coaching

If you haven’t already paid €5.00 for badminton coaching. Please send in the money in an envelope with your child’s name and class on it this week.
