Welcome back. I hope everyone had an enjoyable and restful Halloween break. A big thanks to all those who participated in our Fancy Dress and Pumpkin competition before the holidays. Well done to all the children who won prizes in the pumpkin competition. Pictures of some of the winners will be on the school website later in the week.
Third, Fourth and Sixth classes will be swimming in The Aura Swimming Pool in Navan for the next six Wednesdays starting this Wednesday 9th November. We will be leaving the school at 11.55a.m. and returning at 2.00p.m. approximately. All children must participate in aquatic lessons as part of the National Curriculum. Should a child be unable to attend aquatics, due to a medical condition, a letter must be written to the Board of Management requesting exemption. Exemption will only be granted to children who present with a medical certificate from a G.P. Our swimming Policy can be viewed on the school website. A hard copy can be obtained from the office. The cost per child for six lessons including bus is €35.00. We would like to thank the Parents’ Association who have contributed €500.00 towards the cost of the buses resulting in the overall cost being reduced significantly.

All children must wear their full school uniform except on P.E. days. Tracksuits must not be worn on regular school days. We respectfully ask parents/guardians to abide by this school rule. It is not fair to the vast majority of pupils who do wear school uniform on a daily basis.
