Hillview Nursing Home
Our 5th/6th class pupils will be visiting Hillview Nursing Home on Wednesday December 7th for a musical performance for the residents (weather permitting).This will be a very special occasion for our school as we hope the visit will bring smiles to the residents. The children will be performing a medley of Christmas songs as well as a few musical pieces on the tin whistle. We will need lifts to and from the Nursing Home. We will be leaving the school at 1.45p.m. and returning at 2.30p.m.
Student Council Christmas Raffle
We have a new student council in place Hayley, Donnacha, Leila and Cathal will be working closely with the staff over the next few weeks and we look forward to their great ideas that, hopefully, we can implement in the school. Their first job will be to organise a Christmas Raffle for the children similar to last year. We will be selling tickets next week. We are looking for parents/guardians to donate prizes for the raffle e.g. sweets, chocolates, books, cuddly toys, markers, etc etc. The cost of the tickets are €3 per strip or €5 for 2 strips.
Badminton
Reminder – If you haven’t already paid for badminton lessons please send in €5.00 in an envelope this week.
Christmas Annuals
Folens Christmas Annuals ( Súgradh, Spraoi, Siamsa & Sonas) will be on sale from Thursday December 1st for €4.00. Please send in money in an envelope.
