A Thuisti,
There is an Internet Safety seminar tomorrow night (Tuesday 29th November) in the Ardboyne Hotel in Navan from 7.30 – 9.30p.m. This event is organised by the Meath County Branch of the National Parents’ Council. The overall objective of the seminar is to provide parents with information and skills so that they will be able to engage in their children’s online lives. All parents of primary school children are welcome to attend and the event is free.
Literacy Lift Off starts this week for first class pupils.
The third swimming lesson for Third, Fourth and Sixth classes is on Wednesday (November 30th). We will be leaving the school at 11.55a.m. and returning at 2.00p.m. approximately. Swimming lessons cost €35.00. If you haven’t already paid please do so as soon as possible.
Please find attached the Agreed Report from the last Board of Management meeting.
This week’s Briathar na Seachtaine is: Dún (to close)
e,g. Dún an doras – (close the door)
Dún do mhála scoile – (close your school bag)
Dún an cuisneoir – (close the fridge)
An bhfuil cead agam an doras a dhúnadh – (can I close the door?)
All children must wear their full school uniform except on P.E. days. Tracksuits must not be worn on regular school days. We respectfully ask parents/guardians to abide by this school rule. It is not fair to the vast majority of pupils who do wear school uniform on a daily basis.
Reminder – All children should be in their class lines in the school hall no later than 9.00a.m.
Is mise,
Seamus Tansley.
