On Tuesday October 13th ACCORD facilitators will deliver the RSE programme to sixth class pupils in the school. This programme complements the Social, Personal and Health Education curriculum. Please return the consent form as soon as possible. Please note there isn’t an information night for parents due to financial cutbacks in ACCORD. Our RSE policy can be viewed on the school’s website.
The pupils in second and third classes will be visiting Dunshaughlin Library tomorrow
(Oct 6th) for storytelling by the author Jackie Burke. This event is free but the cost of the bus is €4.00.
There are a number of ‘Open Nights’ in secondary schools this week for the pupils in sixth class:

De Lacy College (Pillo Hotel) at 7.00p.m.
Coláiste na Mí Johnstown Girls 6.00 to 7.30p.m. Boys 7.30 to 9.00p.m.
(Closing date for applications for Coláiste Na Mí is Friday 9th October).
Wednesday Oct. 7th
Dunshaughlin Community College 7.00p.m.
Tuesday Oct. 13th
Ashbourne Community College 4.00 to 6.30p.m.
Our Boys’ Gaelic Football Team beat Oristown last Friday. They will have to beat Castletown this Wednesday to reach the quarter final. The game is in Skryne . We will be leaving the school at 12.55p.m.
Our Girls’ Team lost for the first time this year against Coole. They must beat Baconstown this Thursday to reach the quarter finals. The game is in Baconstown and they will be leaving the school at 1.15p.m.
The Parents’ Association A.G.M. takes place this Wednesday (Oct. 7th) in the school at 8.00p.m. sharp. A vibrant Parents’ Association is vital for our school. It would be great if a member of each household attends the meeting.
The first instalment of €70.00 for the Voluntary Contribution is now due.
