3rd February, 2015.
A Thuisti,
We had four teams representing the school in the Tara and District Credit Union Quiz last night. All four teams scored really well and we are very proud of their efforts. One of our U11 teams won after a tense tie-break and are now through to the ‘chapter’ final in a few weeks. Our other U11 team came third and also won prizes. A big thanks to Mrs Vaughan for preparing the children excellently over the last few weeks.
The Parents’ Association 2015 Calendar is now on sale from the office. Due to printing difficulties the calendar was only printed last week. The calendar has beautiful individual class photographs as well as pictures from eight competition winners (one from each class). Please send in €10 in an envelope if you would like to purchase one.
If you haven’t returned the forms for the Primary Online Database please send them in tomorrow (Wednesday 4th). If you didn’t receive a form please contact Helen in the office. On the form for ‘County’ we need the county of residence at birth.
There is a Literacy Lift Off meeting tomorrow (Wednesday 4th) at 1.50p.m. for parents/guardians of Senior Infant pupils. We hope all parents can attend.
Next week is Enrolment Week (February 9th – 13th) for the 2015/16 school year. Please call into the office next week for an enrolment form if you wish to enrol your child.
