A Thuisti,

Covid-19

Everyone in the Rathfeigh School Community have done a fantastic job in ensuring no positive Covid-19 cases in the school. With just over a week left to the Christmas holidays we mustn’t let our guard down. Please don’t send your child to school if they are experiencing any symptoms of Covid-19. Thanks.

Cash for Clobber

Our Parents’ Association did a fantastic job organising the ‘Cash for Clobber’. A big thanks to all members of the Parents’ Association who give their time on Friday and Saturday collecting bags of clothes etc from parents/guardians. A huge thanks to everyone who dropped in bags. All money from this fundraising event will be used for the educational benefits of all the children in our school. Well done everyone.

The Parents’ Association has been overwhelmed by the generosity of the local community. As a bit of fun and to raise some more money the Parents’ Association are going to run a “Guess The Weight Of The Clobber” competition. The winner will receive a fabulous Christmas Hamper. Cards will be sent home with the children today and we need to have them back in the school by Wednesday.

A sincere thanks to everyone who donated items for the raffle. Raffle tickets (€3 per strip or €5 for two strips) are still on sale. There will two prizes of hampers and a few ‘Spot Prizes’
