4th November, 2013.
Welcome back everyone after the mid-term break. We had a fantastic day on the day of the holidays. The children really enjoyed dressing up for the fancy dress and were excellent in performing Irish songs and poems for all the parents in attendance. The cake sale was a huge success. We made €285.80 which will be used to purchase science and mathematical equipment. A big thanks to all the parents who baked such a wonderful variety of buns and cakes for the sale.
Swimming in Navan Swimming Pool starts this Wednesday (November 6th) for six weeks for all children in third, fourth and fifth classes. The cost per pupil is €45.00. If you haven’t already paid please send in the money in an envelope as soon as possible.
Following the announcement by the National Council for Special Education on Monday 21st October with the revised allocations of resource teaching support in primary schools we will now have a part-time resource teacher with St. Mary’s Convent Trim instead of Slane N.S. Circus Photography will be coming to the school tomorrow to take Junior Infants Individual/Class Group Photographs. If parents of children in Senior Infants to Sixth classes wish to have their childrens photographs taken please return the form or let Helen know in the morning.
