Dear Parents/Guardians,
Halloween Fancy Dress/Pumpkin Competition
The children are invited to come to school this Thursday in Fancy Dress attire. If your child is taking part in the Pumpkin Competition they should bring in their designed pumpkin to school on Thursday morning. As the pumpkins are heavy, parents/guardians should help their children lifting their pumpkins up to the school. Weather permitting, we will have 8 tables at the front of the school (under cover) on which the pumpkins should be placed.
Healthy lunches are optional.
We would be very grateful if cans and bottles used on the day are put into the orange ‘Return’ bin.
The school is closed at 1.40pm on Thursday for ALL pupils.
We wish everyone a happy Halloween but most importantly a safe Halloween!
Mobile Dome Planetarium
The Mobile Dome Planetarium visit will now take place this Wednesday after last week’s cancellation. If you haven’t paid the €3 per child please do so via Aladdin link.
Child Protection
In Scoil Mhuire Naofa, Rathfeigh the Designated Liaison Person (DLP) is Seamus Tansley and the Deputy Designated Liaison Person (DDLP) is Mrs Vaughan. Both myself and Mrs Vaughan have recently attended a mandatory Child Protection Course in line with the updated Child Protection Procedures 2025. The school will close on December 1st to facilitate the attendance of all the staff at a Child Protection In-Service day in Navan Education Centre.
