We had our Jumble Sale last Friday. Our Sixth class pupils did a fantastic job organising t
he Sale. We collected €325.00 which will be used to purchase P.E. equipment for the new school year.
Mrs Berrill finishes in Rathfeigh this Wednesday. In her time in the school Sarah showed great commitment to her job and it was a pleasure to have her on our staff. We will all miss Sarah and we wish her the best of luck in the future.
We had a Board of Management meeting on June 12th. Please find attached the Agreed Report from that meeting.
The Parents’ Association are collecting all rental books tomorrow. Please make sure your child brings all these books to school. These books will be used next year as part of the book rental scheme. If you haven’t paid for copies, journals and folders for next year please send in money tomorrow in an envelope. Book Rental deposits are also due ( €35.00).
Sixth class pupils had their end of year Graduation Mass last Thursday. It was a beautiful and emotional night for the children and their parents/guardians. A big thanks to the Parents’ Association for providing lovely refreshments afterwards. We wish our sixth class pupils the best of luck in secondary school next year.
Confirmation next year is on Sunday April 15th 2018.
The school closes for the summer holidays this Wednesday (June 28th) at 12 noon. There is a school bus. I would like to wish the teachers, Helen, John, Parents/Guardians and all the children a safe and enjoyable summer holidays. The school re-opens after the summer holidays on August 29th.
