End of Year School Reports
The End of Year school reports were sent to all families via the Aladdin App last Thursday .
If you would like to discuss any aspect of your child’s report please make an appointment with the class teacher. If you didn’t receive your child’s report please contact Helen in the office. Mrs. Campbell wasn’t in school last week so she will be posting reports later this week to the families who have children attending her classes.
Sixth Class Graduation
Our 6th class pupils are graduating this Thursday at the school at 7.00p.m. It will be held outdoors weather permitting. The graduation ceremony is a special occasion for the children in sixth class, their families and all the teachers in the school. We wish Ava, Precious, Molly, Freya, Holly, Katelyn, Thomas, Jamie, Seán, Eoin, Rhys, Fionn, Archie and Cathal the best of luck as they enjoy their last week and a half in Rathfeigh N.S. Although, the graduation is Thursday the children in sixth class will finish school with all other pupils on Wednesday June 28th.
Jumble Sale
Our Student Council members are currently organising this year’s Jumble Sale which will take place during school this Thursday. The student council will be organising fun events for the children to partake in. If you would like to donate items please send them in tomorrow or Wednesday e.g. new jigsaws, books , sweets, new cuddly toys etc. The children can bring in a few euro to spend (preferably €2, €1, 50c, 20c coins) in a money bag (not loose).
Talent Show
Our Talent Show takes place this Friday in the school. We will be encouraging as many children as possible to take part but there is no obligation whatsoever to partake.
Sports Day
Our Sports Day will take place this Monday June 26th.
Attendance
It is the school’s legal obligation to inform the National Educational Welfare Board regarding children who have been absent from school for 20 days or more. I will be writing to parents/guardians next week if their child/children has been absent for 20 days or more. The school’s Strategy for School Attendance policy is on the school website.
