Visit of new Junior Infants
We are inviting the new Junior Infants to the school this Wednesday with their parents/guardians from 1.30 to 2.15p.m. The present Junior and Senior Infants will be going home at 12 noon to facilitate the visit. We look forward to our new visitors and we wish them happiness in their time in Rathfeigh.
Aladdin Connect
We still have some families who haven’t registered for Aladdin Connect. We need everyone registered by tomorrow please. The end of year school reports will be sent to parents/guardians through the Aladdin App. If you are not registered you will not be able to access your child’s report. If you are having a problem registering please contact Helen.
Half Marathon
Our Parents’ Association have done a great job organising the Half Marathon Fundraiser which will take place this Thursday during school. All the children will be participating and it promises to be a great day. Please return the Sponsorship Cards tomorrow.
Rounders’ Final
Despite losing the Meath Rounders’ Final last week it’s been a fantastic competition for the girls. They improved game on game and it was a pleasure bringing them to the games as they always had a smile on their faces and always gave a hundred percent. Well done to all the girls on panel.
School Tours
All classes are going on school tours this Friday. All pupils from Junior Infants to fourth class will come to school at the normal school time. The children in fifth and sixth class should arrive at the school at 8.20a.m. as the bus will be leaving at 8.30a.m. sharp. The following are the details of the various class tours:
Junior/Senior Infants
The Junior and Senior Infants are going to Tayto Park. They are leaving the school at 9.40a.m. and returning at 2.00p.m. approximately. They should bring a packed lunch/treats/ drinks, a sun hat and please remember to put sun lotion on your child.
First/Second
First and Second class are going to Rockfield House. They will be leaving the school at 9.15a.m. and will be back at the school at 2.00p.m. approximately. They should bring a packed lunch/treats and drinks.
Third/Fourth
Third and Fourth class are going to the National Aquatic Centre and the Phoenix Park afterwards.
They are leaving the school at 9.00a.m. and will be back at the school at 2.30p.m.
The children should bring a packed lunch/treats and drinks and they can bring €10 spending money.
They will need to bring swimming togs, hat and towel and a €1.00 coin for the lockers.
Fifth & Sixth
Fifth/Sixth class are going to Lilliput Adventure Centre. They will be leaving the school at 8.30a.m. and will be back at the school at 4.30p.m. approximately. The children will need to bring a packed lunch and drinks, a change of clothes and old runners, swimwear, towel, toiletries and suncream.
