Dear Parents/Guardians,
Student Council
Our new Student Council members for the final term of the school year are Katie, Ella, Darci and Orla. We wish them well in their new roles.
First Holy Communion
The children in 2nd class will be receiving their First Holy Communion in Rathfeigh Church on Saturday May 10th at 11am and we wish them and Mrs Campbell well in their preparation for their big day.
Credit Union
The Credit Union will be visiting the school this Friday May 2nd.
70th Anniversary
We will be celebrating the 70th Anniversary of the school on Friday June 6th. We will have more details next week on the timetable of events for the day.
Solar Panels
In January we applied to the Department of Education for a solar panel grant. We have been successful in this grant application and we hope the installers will have the solar panels installed by the end of June.
Standardised Tests
We will be administering the standardised tests in English, Maths and Irish to the children in 1st–6th class from May 27th-May 29th inclusive.
School Closure
The school is closed on Monday May 5th for the May Bank Holiday.
5th/6th Classroom
The Board of Management organised the painting of the 5th/6th classroom over the Easter. We thank Jim for doing a great job.
Re-turn Scheme
We have three bags of bottles/cans that require returning. Please contact the school if you are able to return a bag this week.
