Under Section 22 of the Educational Welfare Act 2000 the Board of Management must prepare and submit to Tusla – Child and Family Agency a Statement of Strategy for School Attendance. This must be in place for the start of the 2017/18 school year. Parental involvement in the Statement of Strategy for School Attendance is essential so we can draw on year experiences and reinforce the importance of regular attendance and also the responsibility of parents/guardians for attendance.
