Swimming continues for First, Third and Fourth classes this Wednesday in Navan Swimming Pool. A big thanks to all the parents who helped out at the pool last week. Any parents that can help out at the pool this week please let Helen know tomorrow. I am delighted at the overwhelmingly positive response of the children towards swimming and it was great that some pupils in First class had their first experience of swimming lessons.
Tag rugby coaching continues this Tuesday for all pupils. The children must wear their tracksuit and runners.
M & M Theatrical Productions will visit the school this Thursday (January 15th) to perform ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’. The performance starts at 1.15p.m. and finishes at 2.30p.m. All children will go home at 2.40p.m.. The cost per pupil is €6.00. Please send in money in an envelope.
There is a Lift Off to Literacy feedback meeting tomorrow (Tuesday 13th) for parents of children in First class. The meeting is at 1.50p.m. We hope all parents will be in attendance.
On Tuesday January 20th the pupils in Fifth and Sixth classes will be visiting Newgrange Visitor Centre and Passage Tomb. The cost of the bus is €5.00 per pupil. Please send in money in an envelope.
Enrolment week for children who will be attending our school for the 2015/16 school year is from Monday February 9th to Friday 13th. If you know of parents who are thinking of sending their children to Rathfeigh N.S. please let them know.
Ms. Nolan will be continuing as a shared Learning Support Teacher with Dunshaughlin N.S. for two days a week (Tuesdays & Thursdays).
There is a Board of Management meeting on Thursday January 22nd.
