Our Christmas Carol Service takes place on Tuesday December 22nd at 11.00a.m. The children will be learning off songs and playing the tin whistle as part of their homework. As a result there will be no written homework this week.
The doors to the school are opened at 8.50a.m. and classes start at 9.00a.m. There are a significant number of pupils arriving late to school. This is very unsatisfactory and very disruptive. I respectfully ask parents to have their children in the school hall before 9.00a.m.
There is no Credit Union this Friday. Credit Union will resume after Christmas (possibly January 15th).
The pictures of the 1916 ceremony taken by Peter Lynch will be on the school website by the end of this week.
The Annual Parent’s Association Christmas Raffle will take place on Tuesday 22nd in the school after the Carol Service. Each family has received three books of tickets today. There are lots of fantastic prizes and five sellers’ prizes. Please return tickets and money to the office by Friday 18th.
The school closes at 12 noon on December 22nd for the Christmas holidays and reopens on Wednesday January 6th.
