A Thuisti,

Car Parking

I would like to remind parents/guardians to reverse their cars into the car parking spaces at the front of the school in the morning and afternoon. Reversing out onto the road is extremely dangerous and is an accident waiting to happen. Your child must be collected at the school gate if you are not parked directly outside the school.

Student Council Christmas Raffle

Our Student Council are organising a Christmas Raffle for the pupils in our school. There will be two hampers as prizes – one raffle for a hamper for children in Juniors to 2nd class and another hamper for children in 3rd to 6th class. We will be selling tickets next week. We are looking for parents/guardians to donate a few small items for the hamper e.g. selection boxes, sweets, books, socks, cuddly toys etc. If you are in a position to donate items please drop them into the office to Helen.

‘Kris Kindle’

Our Student Council have asked us to do a ‘Kris Kindle’ for children in 3rd to 6th . There is no obligation on any family to take part. If you, don’t want your child to take part in ‘Kris Kindle’ please write a note in your child’s journal tomorrow. The maximum spend is €10.

Mindfulness Classes

Mindfulness classes continue this Wednesday with Una Curran. If you haven’t already paid the €6 for the 6 classes please do so by this Wednesday December 8th.

Christmas Tree

A big thanks to Ingrid for sourcing and putting up the Christmas Tree last week. The children have been very imaginative in decorating the tree. It certainly has got us in the mood for Christmas.

Is mise,

Seamus Tansley.
