The Book Fair opens tomorrow Tuesday and remains with us until Friday (13th). Parents are invited to visit the Book Fair at the following times 8.45a.m. to 9.00a.m., 1.20p.m. to 2.00p.m. and 2.20p.m. to 3.00p.m. All classes will visit the Book Fair during the school day and may buy their own books. They will have opportunities to browse quality books and new releases and old reliable titles, fiction and non-fiction. An experience to become absorbed in the pleasure of enjoying a good book. If there are any parents who are able to help out taking orders on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday at any of the above times please let Helen know.
Swimming in Navan swimming pool continues on Wednesday for 4th, 5th and 6th classes. The cost is €35.00. The children will be leaving at 11.55a.m. and will be back at 2.00p.m. approximately. Swimming will be part of the P.E. curriculum.
Rugby for 2nd and 3rd classes will continue this Thursday. All pupils need to wear their tracksuits.
Choir will continue on Tuesday with Laura O’Keane. All children participated in well structured activity based sessions last week.
Lost Property – our basket is now full. Please check it if your child is missing an item of clothing.
There is a Lift Off to Literacy feedback meeting on Thursday 12th for parents of children in Second class. The meeting is at 1.50p.m. We hope all parents will be in attendance.
Reminder: The Parents’ Association are asking for donations of dresses, handbags, jewellery and accessories for the ‘Gladrags & Handbags’ sale event on Friday 27th November, in the RST centre at 8pm. Items can be left with Helen. Tickets for event are €10 and can be purchased from Helen Monday – Thurs or from member of Parents’ Association on Friday mornings. All proceeds in aid of our School.
