Literacy Lift Off started for Senior Infants last week. Please ensure that your child reads his/her Literacy Lift Off book on a daily basis.
Second class pupils have a Confession Practice in Rathfeigh Church tomorrow (Tuesday 8th) at 1.45p.m. We will need help with lifts. They will receive their First Confession this Thursday evening in Rathfeigh Church at 7.30p.m.
Fourth and fifth classes will be visiting Fairyhouse Racecourse this Wednesday (March 9th) for an Open Day. They will be leaving at 9.00a.m. and will be back in the school at 12.00p.m.
There is a Pre-Confirmation Mass practice in Skryne Church this Friday (March 11th) at 1.30p.m. We will be leaving the school at 1.20p.m.
Tuesday March 15th is Proclamation Day. This forms part of the Ireland 2016 Commemorative Programme. We are currently finalising a number of activities for the children on Proclamation Day and will let children and parents/guardians know the exact details tomorrow.
This week’s Frása na Seachtaine is ‘Cé leis é’ (who’s is this ?), Is liomsa é e.g. Cé leis an peann – Is liomsa é (It’s mine).
We will have our annual Ceilí for the children in the school hall on Wednesday March 16th to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day.
The school will close at 12.00 noon on March 16th for the Easter holidays and re-opens on Monday April 4th.
