Dear Parents/Guardians,
7-a-side Gaelic Football
The girls’ and boys’ 7-a-side Cumann na mBunscol Gaelic Football Competitions take place this Wednesday (25th) in Ratoath GFC. The children will be going by bus – leaving at 10.25am (approx.) and returning to the school at 1.30pm (approx.). The cost of the bus is €12.50 which can be paid via the Aladdin app. or if you wish to pay by cash please put in an envelope with your child’s name on it. We thank Ms O’Donoghue, Mrs Kennedy, Félim and Catherine for supervising the children at the event.
Confirmation Choir Practice
The children will practice for the choir this week on Tuesday 24th & Friday 27th. Can parents/guardians please make sure your child has a lift there and a lift back to the school. Children will be leaving the school @ 9.25am up to Skryne School Hall and pick up @ 10.30am.
Confirmation
The pupils in 6th class will receive their Confirmation on March 10th @ 12 Noon.
First Confession
The pupils in 2nd class will receive their First Confession in Rathfeigh Church on March 12th at 7pm.
School Closure
The school will be closed on March 6th (Friday) as per school calendar to facilitate the attendance of teachers at the Primary Curriculum Framework in-service day in Navan Education Centre.
Credit Union Quiz
The ‘Chapter Final’ of the Credit Union Quiz takes place in Virginia on March 6th at 7.30pm. We wish Flora, James, Ada and Elliott the best of luck in the final. Thanks to Mrs Vaughan for preparing the teams.
World Book Day
The children were given book vouchers which can be used to buy books in selected bookstores as part of World Book Day Celebrations. We will be celebrating World Book Day on March 5th.
Rugby Coaching
The third of four rugby coaching sessions took place today and will finish next week.
Swimming
Swimming continues this Friday with the children from 1st – 4th classes.
Football Coach
The final football coaching session with Paul is on this Thursday.
