Dear Parents/Guardians,
Swimming
The children in 1st to 4th class have their first of six swimming lessons in Navan Swimming Pool this Friday. They are going by bus and will be leaving the school at 9.30am and returning at 11.30am. The cost is €60. If you haven’t already paid please do so this week via the Aladdin app or cash in an envelope given into the school office with your child’s name on it.
Gaelic Football Coaching
The first two Gaelic Football Coaching sessions with Paul have been excellent and they will continue for the next few weeks.
Safer Internet Day
We will be celebrating Safer Internet Day on February 10th. The theme this year is “AI Aware: Safe, Smart and in Control”. The theme invites parents/guardians, teachers and the children to consider how AI technology shape children’s experiences online. Please check webwise.ie for more information.
Skip n Rope
We will be having a Skip n Rope workshop for all classes at the school on February 12th. We have had these visiting workshops in the school previously and the children have always thoroughly enjoyed the activities. Money from Parents’ Association fundraising events will cover the cost of this workshop.
‘Boost to Literacy’
The children in 1st class are progressing well with the ‘Boost to Literacy’ initiative. Please examine your child’s reading on a daily basis and sign the Reading Record Sheet also.
Agreed Report
The Agreed Report from Thursday’s Board of Management meeting was e-mailed to parents/guardians.
