Skryne Ladies Intermediate Team
We would like to thank the members of the Skryne Ladies Intermediate team who visited the school last Thursday with the cup. We were particularly proud of our past pupils Colleen, Aine and Ciara who visited the school. Nicola took a great selection of photographs which will be uploaded to the school website in the next week or so. Thanks to Fiona for providing the boxes of sweets for the occasion.
‘Boost to Literacy’
Our ‘Boost to Literacy’ initiative with the pupils in 2nd class is going very well. Please get your child to read their book to you on a daily basis and please sign the Reading Record sheet daily also.
Teacher Placement Training
Heather Sullivan will be doing her Teaching Placement in 5th/6th class over the next few weeks and we wish her the best of luck!
Maths Week

This Friday 17th October we have an interactive feature show “space shapes” coming to the school. All children will get to go into a dome and they get to watch a short interactive film inside the dome. This also links in with science week. The cost is €3 per child which can be paid via the Aladdin link or cash in an envelope with your child’s name on it.
