Dear Parents/Guardians,
Application for Eligibility Letters for Special Class Placements
If you are considering a special class placement for your child from September 2026 you must apply to the Special Education Needs Organisation (SENO) for an eligibility letter in line with Circular 39/2025. An eligibility letter form from NCSE is a mandatory requirement for enrolment in a special class. Applications must be submitted to the SENO no later than October 1st 2025 – without this letter, children cannot be considered for placement in a special class.
