Congratulations
A huge congratulations to Ella and Aoibhinn after their amazing achievement of winning the All-Ireland in the 200 metre relay race which was held in Athlone over the weekend. Well done Ella and Aoibhinn.
Fire Safety
The pupils in 3rd & 4th class will be visited by Ashbourne Fire Brigade on Wednesday for a fire safety lesson. The visit is a reminder that all families should have a Fire Evacuation Plan in place in the event of a fire at home and all the children know their Eircode in case the occasion arises that they need to ring a Fire Brigade.
Credit Union
The Credit Union will visit the school again this Friday (11th). Please put the following dates in your diary for their next visits – May 2nd, May 16th, May 30th & June 13th.
Boys’ Rounders
The first round of the boys’ rounders will be taking place on Monday 28th April (the day we return after the Easter break). They will be playing in Kiltale at 12 Noon, leaving the school @ 11.30am. Please arrange a lift for your child if you can’t attend yourself.
RST
The RST was emailed to all parents/guardians over the weekend.
After-School Activities
As you know we advertise in the RST for people who are interested in doing after-school activities in the school. At the moment we have Speech/Drama (Monday), Healthy Kids (due to be back on Wednesdays) and Gymnastics (Friday). We therefore, have availability presently on Tuesdays and Thursdays. If you are interested in doing an after-school activity or know someone who might be interested please contact the school office.
Easter Egg Hunt
We have our annual Easter Egg Hunt at the school on Friday.

School Tour
The school tour for all classes will be on Friday June 20th. Payment request will follow after the Easter break.

School Uniform
Only plain navy shorts (no logo) sitting just above the knee are permitted. No bicycle shorts allowed.
Easter Holidays
The school closes at 12 Noon this Friday (April 11th) for the Easter Holidays. The school will re-open on Monday 28th April.
