Imlitir 4

26th September, 2012.

A Thuisti,

We have a non-uniform day this Friday (28th September). We would be very grateful if everyone brought in €1.00. This money will be donated to Kayleigh Farrell (ex pupil of Rathfeigh) who is volunteering for 12 weeks on the International Volunteer HQ orphanage programme in Kenya. She has to pay fees of $1500 to cover her accommodation, meals etc. Money collected from the non-uniform day will go some way to paying her fees. Healthy lunches are optional on Friday.

I would like to thank Martin Curran for making the bird table and seats from the trees he cut down at the front of the school at the start of this term. This work is greatly appreciated and I’m sure the children of Rathfeigh will enjoy the finished products for years to come.

The Literacy Lift Off programme starts on Monday (October 1st) for first class. I would like to thank all the staff for their huge efforts in getting the programme ready for next week.

Is mise,

Seamus Tansley.

Priomh Oide.
