Enrolment for 2025/2026
We will commence accepting Enrolment Applications for the 2025/2026 school year on October 1st 2024. We will cease accepting applications on January 20th 2025. If you have a child starting school in September 2025 please download an Enrolment Form from the school website or call to the office for a hard copy. If you know parents/guardians who have children of school-going age please let them know of these dates.
SNA Appreciation Day
SNA Appreciation Day takes place this Thursday (26th September). We have two exceptional SNA’s in our school (Nicola and Tara). I, personally, would like to thank them for their commitment and dedication to their job which they do on a daily basis to the highest of standards. Their care and kindness for the children is second to none and we, as a school, are very lucky to have them. They have a great relationship with the children and it’s a pleasure on a daily basis to see the children flourish under their care.
Parents’ Association A.G.M.
The Parents Association A.G.M. takes place this Thursday (26th) in the school at 7.30pm. I have been invited to attend the meeting. It’s vitally important that we have a vibrant Parents’ Association so please make the effort to attend.
Swimming
The children in 3rd-6th class have their second swimming session in Aura Swimming Pool in Navan this Tuesday. Please remind the children to bring their swimming togs, towel, hat and goggles.
School Closure
The school is closed on Monday September 30th as per the school calendar.
Gaelic Football
Our Boys’ Gaelic Football Team are playing in Bellewstown tomorrow (Tuesday) at 1pm. We are leaving the school at 12.30pm. Please arrange a lift for your child if you can’t attend yourself.
Our Girls’ Gaelic Football Team are playing in Kilcloon this Wednesday at 12 Noon. We are leaving he school at 11am. Please arrange a lift for your child if you can’t attend yourself.
A big thanks to Felim for setting up the pitches in Skryne over the last two weeks and for refereeing matches.
