Chess
We have a number of children in 3rd-6th class who are going to Skryne N.S. tomorrow (Tuesday) to play chess against the children in Skryne. We are leaving at 12.50pm and returning at 2pm. Please arrange a lift for your child if you can’t attend yourself.
Congratulations
A big congratulations to Aoibhinn (6th class) who recently won a gold medal in the All-Ireland 200 metres relay final. It’s a fantastic achievement and we are really proud of her on receiving an All-Ireland medal.
Congratulations to Niall (5th class) who is presently in Brussels with his family after winning the Nina Carberry Essay Competition. Well done Niall. Thanks to Mrs Kennedy for entering the children in the competition.
Hot School Meals
Today is the first day of the Hot School Meals initiative being introduced to the school and we hope that it is a success.
Parents/Guardians can change the meals from Monday to Thursday (app closes at 2pm on a Thursday) for the following week if they wish, otherwise orders are recurring and the same meals ordered from this week will be given every week going forward.
Rounders
The boys’ and girls’ rounders’ teams will have a games next week. We will inform parents/guardians of the dates, venues and times as soon as we have the information.
