Confirmation
Sixth class pupils will receive their Confirmation on Sunday March 3rd in Skryne Church at 1.00p.m. It is a big occasion for the children and we hope they all enjoy the day with their families, relatives and friends. The following are the practices for the sixth class pupils and the choir.
Tuesday February 26th 9.30a.m. to 11.00a.m. (Choir only)
Thursday February 28th 9.30a.m. to 11.00a.m ( Sixth class and Choir)
On both days we will be leaving the school at 9.20a.m. We will need help with lifts.
Please organise a lift with another parent/guardian if you are unable to bring your child yourself.
Computer Room
Back in October we installed computers and a printer in our computer room. The children have enjoyed using the computer room during I.T. lessons with Colm and with their class on many occasions. We are delighted that the computer room has now been fully paid for. Our Parents’ Association very kindly donated €1,100 and Stephen Durkan very generously donated €500. The balance of €2000 has been kindly donated by Teck Ireland.

Credit Union Quiz
Our Under 11 quiz team Amy, Freddy, Jay Jay and Isabelle are participating in the Credit Union Chapter Final this Friday March 1st in the Pillo Hotel Ashbourne at 7.30p.m. We are very proud of their efforts to date and we wish them and Mrs. Vaughan the best of luck in the Chapter Final.
Jackie’s 100 Mile Challenge
As you know our Caretaker, Jackie, is running a 100 miles during February for cancer. She has almost reached her target. On Wednesday the children in some classes will be running the final mile with her. We are collecting a few euro from children on Wednesday to donate to this important cause. Please support Jackie!!
