9th June, 2016.

A Thuisti,

Our Boys’ Rounders’ Team won their semi-final against Skryne last week. They are playing Dangan in the final this Monday (June 13th) at 3.15p.m. in Navan O’Mahony’s (next to Páirc Tailteann). We will be leaving the school at 2.15p.m. We wish them the best of luck in the final.

Our Girls’ Rounders’ Team are playing their semi-final match today. We wish the team and Mrs. O’Reilly the best of luck for today’s game.

We hope to have our Sports Day next week on Thursday June 16th. This is weather dependent and is therefore subject to change. The children have been put in teams and assigned a particular colour. All children will go home at 2.00p.m. on Sports Day.

We hope to have the Talent Show on June 21st and our annual Jumble Sale on June 24th. If you have any items that you would like to donate for the Jumble Sale please send them in as soon as possible. Sixth class pupils will be organising the Jumble Sale for us.

We hope to post out school reports this Tuesday (June 14th). If you haven’t received the report by Friday June 17th please let us know.

All classes are going on school tours tomorrow. All information for tours are on the back of this letter

Health Week was a great success again this year. The children really enjoyed the talks and activities. A huge thanks to our Parents’ Association for organising this. The Fun Run last Sunday organised again by our Parents’ Association was a tremendous success. We thank the Parents’ Association for their continued support in organising these events which ultimately benefits the school.

Is mise,
Seamus Tansley.
