Swimming in Navan Swimming Pool starts this Wednesday for six weeks for all pupils in Fourth, Fifth and Sixth classes. The cost per pupil (including bus) is €35.00. We would like to thank the Parents’ Association for their contribution of €1000 towards the cost of the buses for the year. The children will be leaving the school at 11.55 and will be back in the school at 2.00p.m. approximately. Swimming will form part of the P.E. Curriculum. Our Swimming Policy is on the school website.
Laura O’Keane will be taking all classes from Second to Sixth for choir practice on Tuesdays until Easter. We would like to thank Laura for organising this for the school. The children will undoubtedly enjoy it and benefit greatly from it. Laura hopes to have the children performing for the parents later in the year.
I would like to remind parents/guardians that all children must wear the full school uniform in school. Children can wear their tracksuits on PE days and on days that they have gaelic football or basketball after school. If your child is absent from school the Pupil Absence Note should be filled out and given to the class teacher. This note can be found on the school website here.
Parent Teacher Meetings will take place on December 3rd and 4th from 1.30 to 4.00p.m.
